To Our Valued Customers,

Our team at Ozarka is fully aware of the ongoing concerns and uncertainties that lie before us in these trying times within our community, state, and nation. I wanted to reach out personally to reassure you that our entire team is taking preventative and cautious measures to ensure a smooth, safe and healthy working environment as we continue to provide you with the highest quality water possible.

To best monitor the COVID-19 situation, we are working closer than ever before with the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF), the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO) to make the wellbeing of our employees and customers our greatest priority. Our in-house State certified lab has always had a long standing and strong sanitation program. With recommendations by the Oklahoma State Department of Health, we are actively bolstering our cleaning efforts to safeguard all of our products, employees and customers. At this time, we wanted to share with you the following stringent sanitation measures that have always been in place within our facility and new recommended strides to further establish a healthy workplace:

  • All employees have been encouraged to stay home if they are sick and to immediately consult their physician.
  • Ozarka has always had a strong food safety plan governed by the FDA, we follow the 7 principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and abide by FDA current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Our managerial team is hosting daily meetings to constantly monitor and address any and all safety concerns.
  • All Route Drivers will be equipped with personalized bottles of hand sanitizer as they will sanitize their hands between each stop every day. Additionally, Ozarka has increased the number of hand sanitizer stations within our front office and warehouses.
  • All production employees are required to thoroughly wash their hands, as always, during any absence from the production line prior to wearing protective gear to preserve safe work habits and handling of all food products.

Ozarka has a long history of supporting our community, state and nation in times of natural disaster, and will continue to do so during the fight against COVID-19. This is a serious situation that will take all of our help to responsibly mitigate the risk of this pandemic. We will continue to monitor the situation, diligently work, and take necessary action based on updated information provided by the WHO, CDC, NSF and FDA.

I thank you for being a loyal customer and allowing us to proudly serve you throughout all these years.

Cordially,
Steve Raupe, CEO
